We take pride in the quality instructors we keep on staff, not just in their abilities but also the integrity they bring in morals and values!  They are a motivated hardworking crew of people who take incredible joy in the ability to instill confidence and aquatic skills in children of all swimming abilities.

Our Instructors are trained, one-on-one in the methodology of our unique learning system and in child development principles. On going staff development (including CPR training) ensures students consistently receive safe, high quality instruction from the staff of Family Swim School.

Our Instructors Experience Longevity of Instructors at Family Swim School
80 % Have attended college. 20 % Have been employed for 12-21 years. 
85 % Have had previous experience in aquatics. 40 % Have been employed for 4-12 years.
65 % Are parents, themselves. 40 % Have been employed for up to 2 years.
35 % Are parents who brought their children to us for instruction.                      
100 % Choose to work at the Family Swim School. You will find both owners, Peter and Katherine managing
and teaching at both the Eagan and Lakeville pools.
